In the world of digital information distribution, creating transparent services based on data available for every citizen to view is a huge challenge. I participated in work on government projects commissioned by the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs.

The company I worked for won a tender announced by the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs together with the Central Information Technology Centre (COI) for the implementation of the Open Data platform.
Background
The motive for launching the Open Data platform was to increase the transparency of public administration, stimulate innovation in the private sector and support the development of a data-based economy. The biggest challenge of the project was to integrate distributed public data sets and ensure their consistency, quality and availability in formats that can be reused.
